This mill is specially designed for use with wet sea salt (such as grey sea salts and fleur de sel). The natural consistency and moisture content of wet sea salt make it unsuitable for use in a standard salt mill. A spiral shaft turns the salt toward the ceramic grinding mechanism, thereby preventing it from becoming compressed. The grind is adjustable from fine to coarse. Partially filled with wet sea salt.
